What we collect

When you purchase HookBench, we store your email address and licence key to manage your licence. We also store a device fingerprint (a hardware identifier) for each device you activate, to enforce the 3-device limit.

Webhook data

Webhook payloads sent through the cloud relay are forwarded in real time and are not stored on our servers. All payload data is stored locally on your Mac.

Analytics

The HookBench website uses Pirsch, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies or collect personal data. The Mac app does not include any analytics or telemetry.

Third parties

We use Stripe for payment processing and Brevo for transactional emails (licence delivery and recovery). These services receive only the data necessary to complete their function.

Data retention

Licence records are retained for as long as the licence is active. If you request deletion, email us and we will remove your data within 30 days.
